Roseñas hosted 1st San Sebastian Recoletos College System Student Leadership Training and Seminar-Workshop
1st San Sebastian Recoletos College System Student Leadership Training and Seminar-Workshop was attended by different student leaders from the Luzon Cluster of Recollect schools with the theme "Journeying Together in the Call for a Sebastinian Recollect Student Servant Leadership,” held at Colegio de Sta Rosa - Makati on September 27–28, 2024.
The student leaders participated in several organized activities on the first day of the leadership program, including speeches about leadership and chances to socialize. By means of their customary cheers and unique performances, all delegates effectively represented their own school.
In the morning, the event officially began with a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Kenneth Joseph L. Onda, OAR. It was then followed by the Opening Program which consisted of the National Anthem, Roll Call of the Delegates, Welcome Remarks, and Keynote Address. Next, Mrs. Nilda Chuawee from SSC-R Manila spoke about Leadership: Unifying Goals and Directions for the first input session.
In the evening, the delegates gathered in the Multipurpose Gymnasium for the Socials. It was an opportunity for the student leaders to socialize, share food, and showcase their talents to one another.
On the second day, they listened to a number of talks centered on leadership and team building. The participants joined in activities that called for leadership qualities like teamwork and attentiveness.
Mr. Henry Hilario from SSC-R Cavite and Ms. Ma. Teresa E. Ronquillo from SSC-R Manila discussed the topic of emotional intelligence in leadership. In the final session, Mr. Francis Competente from SSC-R Manila and Mr. Reynaldo Geronimo from SSC-R Cavite spoke about handling challenges and managing conflicts. Fr. Gideon Antolin U. Lagrimas, OAR, then gave an OAR Vocation Talk to the delegates.
After that, there was a Eucharistic Celebration to honor the memorial of San Lorenzo Ruiz and to finish off the event presided by Fr. Virgilio M. Paredes, Jr., OAR. The Closing Program, which featured the Awarding of Certificates, brought the program to an end.
